Happy Monday Everyone!!! Its Sankari here :) Can you believe that September is more than half way over!!! THis week, I am so excited to be your hostess!!! I thought maybe this week, we could make a Christmas/holiday card with non traditional colors (meaning - no red, green or blue - or just little bits of those colors!) something totally different.... its a fun way to use your holiday stamps (or non holiday stamps) in a fun and different way! ! Maria has created an awesome sketch below that you can use if you would like a sketch - so come on and get those colors out and play along with us! To participate, please comment on this post with a link to your blog or online gallery! We can't wait to see your creations!

Debbie's Paper Piecing Challenge #33 - 09-07-09

Hello Friends!! We're on week #33! Wow, it's amazing how time has flown. Just to let you know . . .our challenges will end on November 16. We've been creating challenges since January. Can you believe it? For those who've participated throughout the year, well. . .we'll get to take a break and enjoy the holidays because by November 16, we would have created 40+ cards! Whoohoo! We'll be able to concentrate on other things. . .such as going shopping, hanging out with our families, and just enjoying a less stressful holiday season. But not to worry. . .for those who still need to work on their Chistmas cards. . .you still have time to create your cards.

Well, this week's challenge is hosted by Debbie of the Paper Garden. Whoohoo! It's a fun challenge. . .so be sure to play along! Debbie's challenge for this week is "paper piecing".

**Debbie here: I can remember making paper dolls and outfits for them as a child with my grandma. We would get wall paper sample books to make the outfits with. Paper piecing seems to be "in" again and I would love to challenge you to make a card using this technique. I look forward to seeing what you design. If you need some inspiration for a sketch layout, Maria has drawn one up for you here.**

If you want to play along, comment on this post with a link to your blog or online gallery such as PCP or SCS. We'd love for you to play along!!
