Gift Set Challenge #1 - Card Purse

Hello CSAYL Fans! Last year we did a wonderful job creating our Christmas cards but I found that I was lacking gift sets and rushed to create a few before Christmas. I wasn't very successful and I ended up resorting to just using "bought" tags and cellophane bags. Ugggh! Well, this year, I decided that I'm not going to do that again.

So. .. .this year at CSAYL, once a month on the first week of each month, we'll have "gift set" challenges which will consist of one 3D item (box, treat bags, gift bags, folders, etc.) and one card to create a coordinating set. The challenges will be to create both the 3D item and a coordinating card.

A tutorial or a link to a tutorial will be posted and the challenge will be to create that 3D item and the card.

Without further ado. . .this week's challenge is to create a "Card Purse" with a coordinating card. I decided the "Card Purse" that I saw on SCS was a wonderful gift set idea for our very first gift set challenge. There will be no specific theme for this project. You may use any image, color, or embellishment as desired.

Here is the link to the tutorial: Click Here

Insert the link to your card via Mr. Linky below. If you are unable to link through Mr. Linky, please comment this post with the link to your card. If you upload your cards on SCS or PCP, please add the key word: CSAYL and the title "CSAYL43". We hope you'll play along.

We'll be voting on the participants' cards and the winning participant will be invited to be a guest designer for the following week's challenge. Good luck!!!

The winning participant for "Challenge #41 - What's Cookin' Challenge" is Radha of CreativePearlTouch! Radha will be our guest designer for next week's challenge! Congratulations Radha! Here is the beautiful card that Radha created for Challenge #41:
